Specificity

After an initial consultation, I usually compile a client-specific programme and video myself to demonstrate the exercises.

These pictures are from a couple of different client videos that had the same overall intention: to improve strength in the quads and glutes. The end goal was the same for each but the two clients presented completely different challenges and required their own bespoke approach.

I also find myself testing my own body in different ways and exploring my own strengths and weaknesses when I’m prescribing exercises for others but I have to try and make it look easy!

Above all, exercise prescription should be specific to you and tailored to suit your needs.
